Too Wide, Too Big
" I do love these boots. BUT, I didn't realize Wide Calf automatically came with Wide Width as well. These are too big in every way. I do have athletic calves and have had boots be too tight so I figured I would try the wide. I went to the store to try the regular boots after they arrived b/c the wide just felt like too much boot -too much material especially around the ankles. The regulars fit me fine. In the store they are called Matisse - but they are the same boots. Can't wait to wear them! "

Took a few tries
" I was returning some other boots to the local store, when I noticed these boots. Fell in love, but at the last minute, decided not to get them. Huge mistake! I regretted that decision for weeks. I finally went online and ordered these in my normal size, 8.5, but went with the medium width. Oops! Had to return those too because they didn't fit my calves. Finally, ordered the 8.5W and they fit perfectly. Love the color and love that it varies a little bit. They'll age beautifully, very excited to wear these this fall! "

Just ok
" Unfortunately, these boots did not blow me away. And for $150 I expected a little more from them. I think the wide calf nature of the shaft made the ankle portion of the boot really narrow looking. I was also not a fan of the "v" design in the back, which made the boot stick out. Sadly, I will be returning these. "

Finally found a pair to keep
" I love the look of these boots. Flat (no chunky heel) and a couple cute but subtle buckle details at the bottom. But most importantly, they fit. I got the wide calf and it is wide. I can fit jeans in them no problem. They also come in wide width at the store. There isn't much padding on the foot bed though. I added a cushioned arch support and was good to go. "
