Love these boots!

Great looking boot, a little snug in the toes
" With 14.5-15" calves, these boots fit perfectly and zipped up with ease. Nice leather material with enough distress and grain to look natural without looking beat-up or used. The ankle also is a nice snug fit, which is a pleasant change as I know a lot of wide-calf boots are very loose in the ankle and can therefore look quite unflattering. I put some gel inserts into the foot as there is very little cushioning, which bumped me up a size to the 8.5. However with the inserts and now socks, they are running a bit tight across the toes. I'm unsure if they'll stretch out or if I need to go to a wide width? I suppose I can always order another pair to test our my theory as DSW has a great online-store return policy.
Very happy with these boots, despite having to figure out the best cushioning/sizing/width combination. Would for sure recommend to anybody with athletic calf muscles needing a cute boot that does make their ankles look like Jabba the Hutt. "

" I bought the wide calf boot, as the original was sold out, and many posts regarding the regular sizing were that the calf region was kind of tight. I'm about 5'8", 130 pounds with bird legs, but thought I'd give it a shot. I love the boots, but had to return them because the wider shaft was giant on me. I'll continue lusting after the regular size... "
