OK, but picture online is deceiving!
"I'm not sure if the increasingly large calved boots they are making are a problem for anyone else, but I have had a terrible time not looking like I'm a child wearing daddy's boots! I thought these looked narrow and sleek, but alas when they arrived, same issue. These could be the perfect boot for somebody, but not for me."

Ok, not the greatest not the worst
"These are cute and go with alot of outfits, but aren't the most comfortable boots I've worn. I ordered them in the wide since most of the reviews suggested they run narrow, and they fit with alot of space, but aren't flexible in the least. I'm hoping they wear in and loosen up."

Not Wide Calf
"This boot showed up when I searched for wide calf boots. It is NOT wide calf. It is wide width. It is a very cute boot and seems comfortable, but I couldn't get it halfway up my calf. Sadly, I had to return these boots!"

Perfect for fall
"These boots are so cute in person! The calf is narrow like others have said (I ordered wide), but they work fine with skinny jeans. They seem a bit stiff, but I think they will break in with wear. They are a perfect fall riding boot."

Too wide :(
"These boots are gorgeous and look classy and expensive. Unfortunately the calf width is much wider than they appear in the pics so I had to return them. Really wished they fit my skinny legs!!!"

Wanted to love...
"I wanted to love these boots but I have wide calves. I have purchased multiple wide calf boots from DSW with no problem in the past but somehow, these were way too small. Even in the extra wide, they wouldn't zip all the way up. Steer clear of these boots if you have wide calves."

Annie Jackie Boots are too Narrow
"I was so excited to get my riding boots because for me is really hard to find boots because of my thighs. I got them today, and unfortunately I will have to return because they are too narrow. I could not zip them up at all. It was so depressing, I love the loves, and the cost . The size of the boot fits fine. But I could not zip them at all."

Cute Boots
"I really like these boots but chose to return then because I felt like I was to short for them. I am 5'3 and they just did not look the best on me. They are very nice shoes though. Had I been taller I would have kept them!"

Wide just isn't wide in the right way
"I have bought many pairs of boots over the years, but somehow this year I am officially in the "wide calf" range. I tried on both the regular and wide and I'd say the difference in miniscule. The wide version fits my calf but has way too much room in the ankle. Be aware of the gap when purchasing."

"I have not had a chance to wear them out yet but my initial thoughts are that they are very sturdy, well made boots. I am between a 7 and a 7.5 and I decided to get a 7.5 and I'm glad I did. One of the things I like/dont like about this boot is that it is very sturdy and stands up on its own but it feels a bit weird walking in them since they don't bend much. Another thing I don't like is that they are not as snug as I would like around my thighs, there is still a small gap. Nevertheless I think they are a great pair of boots for the price."

"I ordered these boots in extra wide because I have wide feet and prefer to wear my orthotics when I can, so extra-wide widths accommodate well. While they are comfy on my feet (if not a bit large in the mid-foot area), the calves are almost too wide. Also, the brown is so dark I thought they accidentally sent me black initially. I think I might be returning these."

weird fit
"The foot of the shoe is kind of narrow-- definitely couldn't wear wool socks in these-- but the calf is super wide. seems like I had an extra inch or so on the circumference and my calf measures 14". Also, the tread is not great, kind of slippery."

Perfect Fall Boot
"Just recieved my pair of Annie Jackie Riding Boots and I love them so far! I do notice that they run rather wide around the middle of the foot. I have flat feet and require an orthopedic insert so it actually works out fine, but if I didn't have to, I would consider them too wide. Very comfy, stylish fall boot!"

"Be sure to measure your calf to ensure this will fit. The circumference is only 15" - I didn't notice that before ordering. I'll have to return them."

extra wide = not wide in the slightest
"I was really excited to but these boots because it's rare there are inexpensive riding boots that come in wide. I've purchased several boots at DSW, all wide, that fit perfect in the calves. I ordered extra wide this time to be safe but it didn't come close to fitting. Unless you have supermodel thin legs, forget about it. They are really cute and feel comfy in person though. Just the width is VERY narrow."

NOT wide-calf
"These were so narrow that when I went to the store and tried on regular width of other boots, they were too big! On these I could not even zip them all the way up. I will have to return these sadly, they are very good looking, just poor-fitting."

"I love this boots - they look like high quality without the high price - but they have laid flat in the boxes so the shape of the boot is flattened. I am thinking of returning them for this reason, only because I don't want to risk it if they don't return to that shape!"
