Comfortable!

XXL Calf
"I typically have to buy boots with wide calves, but these were WAY too big. I think I had about three inches of space between my calf and the boot. Plus, they just weren't my style once I tried them on. Had to return."

Comfy and Attractive, but Beyond Useless Quality
"When I first started wearing these, I was absolutely thrilled. They're a stylish boot and almost unbelievably comfortable. However, the construction of the boot is so poor that after only a month of wear, I'm having to replace them. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of just 1 is that the overall style and comfort really is that phenomenal; the quality is, unfortunately, unquantifiably bad.
The heel of one of the boots has completely caved in - it squishes nearly flat with every step, and makes an airy wooshing sound as I walk. I'm continuing to use them as I try to find and purchase a replacement, but I may have to give up soon, as the squishy heel is throwing off my alignment and my back is starting to get sore by the end of the day.
When a similarly styled riding boot from Payless could stand up to over a year of my walking habits (I always get at least 10,000 steps a day, and often over 12,000), I find the fact that a supposedly higher-quality brand fails so miserably completely unacceptable. While I've been less-than-thrilled with certain shoes in the past, this is the first purchase I've made that I completely regret and really wish I could undo - these were an absolute waste of money.
If you are even remotely active and plan to do any walking at all in these, save yourself the trouble and move on to another boot!"

"I ordered these boots online after a similar style at Aldo was sold out. I will say that the calf fit perfect, but I also have athletic calves and not true wide calves. When I received the boots, I was really disappointed. I tried to overlook the fact they looked cheap (because they were), but once on, they made my legs look chunky and weird. The rounded toe was a lot more round than it looks online. I'll stick with my classic riding boots from now."

So comfy
"These wide calf boots are better than i expected. I have thick calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit, and even wide calf ones that still don't pinch. These are so comfortable and zip up without any problem. I can even tuck skinny jeans into them. Lots of toe room too for my slightly wide toes."

Great boots
"I absolutely love these boots. They look very nice, granted they are not leather, but they don't look cheap at all, also super comfortable and look good with skirts or pants. The wide calf is very accurate, it gives room for pants and socks without been to tight. My calfs are 15.5 in; I'm short 5'3, and they come to just below my knee.

"These boots are too cute, BUT (and this is a deal-breaker, at least for me), they are NOT wide-calf!!!!! As soon as I received them, I opened the box and couldn't wait to wear them! But, when I tried them on, there's no way I could get the zipper up. It says wide-calf, but buyer beware, if yours are like mine, these aren't going to work. Maybe I just have super-wide calves!"

Match Made In Heaven
"I have been looking for the perfect riding boot since this fad hit the scene. only problem was that i have a wide calf and finding boots and shoes that come up over my calf can be quite hard. with this boot it covers my calf and is still very comfortable. i love it and wear it with skirts, pants, whatever the likes and still look nice. thanks dsw for helping me find my perfect boot"
