Comfy and Attractive, but Beyond Useless Quality
" When I first started wearing these, I was absolutely thrilled. They're a stylish boot and almost unbelievably comfortable. However, the construction of the boot is so poor that after only a month of wear, I'm having to replace them. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of just 1 is that the overall style and comfort really is that phenomenal; the quality is, unfortunately, unquantifiably bad.
The heel of one of the boots has completely caved in - it squishes nearly flat with every step, and makes an airy wooshing sound as I walk. I'm continuing to use them as I try to find and purchase a replacement, but I may have to give up soon, as the squishy heel is throwing off my alignment and my back is starting to get sore by the end of the day.
When a similarly styled riding boot from Payless could stand up to over a year of my walking habits (I always get at least 10,000 steps a day, and often over 12,000), I find the fact that a supposedly higher-quality brand fails so miserably completely unacceptable. While I've been less-than-thrilled with certain shoes in the past, this is the first purchase I've made that I completely regret and really wish I could undo - these were an absolute waste of money.
If you are even remotely active and plan to do any walking at all in these, save yourself the trouble and move on to another boot! "
