Beautiful but Painful
"These boots put pressure on the ball of my foot under my big toe. I would recommend for short-time wear. After a night at the bars, my feet hurt so bad I could barely walk when I took the shoes off. Since then, the pain has gone down as I break them in.
They are beautiful, high-quality boots, but I would only recommend them for people willing to endure pain in the name of fashion!"

Love these boots!
"Nine West never disappointments me. I was a little fearful I'd have to return these, because of the heel height, but I find these very easy to walk in. The leather is very comfy too, and once it's broken in, I feel it stretches nicely."

Going back
"I've been looking for boots that were a little more sassy, less riding looking. These looked perfect in the picture. I couldn't wait to get them in the mail. The calf was too big and loose, which made the leather at of the top of my foot buckle. So sad they are going back after all the excited anticipation."

"Great boot, loved the style, very happy it ran in wide calf, but was sad the foot was to narrow and i had to return them! Wide calf but not wide foot? Wish they would have both available! Glad returning them was easy and found another boot right away!!"

Cute Dressy Boot
"This boot is cute - the shine gives them a little extra dressy look. The calf area was too tight on my calves, re ordered in the wide calf version. The foot area felt a little snug on me, hoping this is better in the wide calf version. A for looks, C for fit."

Perfect simple style
"I've been looking for a pair of boots to replace my favorite old pair which had worn out. This was the closest I could find and will probably be my go-to pair. The heel is a little pointy and high, but the platform helps. I have a muscular calf and these are only slightly snug so I'm confident they will stretch enough to be comfortable."

Love this boots
"These are great boots!! Besides the fact that they are gorgeous, the insides are nicely padded which makes them more comfortable. I wear black boots every day to work and these are one of the most comfortable pairs I've come across. Plus, I've had tons of compliments on them!"

So comfortable!
"I've worn these twice so far on nights that I've gone out for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Both nights I was on my feet for hours, but didn't feel a single ache! The fit through the calf is perfect for me (pant size 2-4), so I was able to wear them with jeans tucked in and with tights. I would've given these shoes 5 stars, but was disappointed to find that these boots are not real leather like described."

Might Keep- Should have read other reviews first
"Just like other ladies attested, these boots are not leather like the description reads (leather upper)..They are man made material.I am disappointed with DSW! A little loose around calves. Pretty comfortable, maybe need a cushion in bottom if I keep.They are a nice style and the price was reasonable. Jury is out on if I will keep. I seem to have a tough time finding high boots!! ug. I'll keep trying though."

Nice Try
"I was pleased to find classic looking black boots even if they were not real leather. But the calf area is too wide and make the boots look odd. Even when I tried them on with jeans they are still too loose. Otherwise it might have been a great match with my dresses, skirts, and jeans, Otherwise they look very tailored and classy, but the calf area just takes away. So unfortunately, these are going back."

Not a fave
"The boot is not every wide. In fact it is extremely narrow. Also the description is way off. The details state that this has a leather upper and it is man made. I was extremely disappointed with this boot. On the website it looks great. In the box it looks great but when you are trying them on disappointment will set in. Sorry I couldn't give this one two thumbs up. :("

I like them, but
"I don't know if I could really recommend them. I really like the cut of the boot. They are exactly what I was looking for. They are comfortable, a great height, and look good with a dress or skinny jeans. I hate that they are not leather. They clearly look man made and the quality is not the way Nine West used to be. Nine West has really done a disservice by not making all their shoes leather any more. Needless to say, I decided to keep them, because the price was good and I won't be upset if I ruin them. For a nice leather boot, I think I need to move up into a different price bracket..."
