" I pulled these boots out of the box and was initially disappointed. I purchased this style in black, so the distressed look is very odd. I also realized they were short (granted, I'm over 6'0'' tall). I was anticipating OVER the knee, not barely reaching my knee. However, the more I danced around the mirror, the more I started to like the shoes. They are kind of wide in the calf, but it gives space for jeans. They definitely grew on me the more I left them on my feet! "
