Not bad, but needs more padding
" I really love the look of these boots. They're tall, black, up-to-the-knee boots with a 2 1/2" heel and a great multi-buckle detail. They look fantastic on. I bought these to wear with skirts and jeans, as well as my pirate outfit. They fit the bill for that.
I have one big complaint: there's not much, if any, padding in the ball of the foot on these boots. Unless you are used to wearing high heels a lot, these boots will get very uncomfortable very quickly. Granted, I may just need to wear them a few more times before they are comfortable, but right now I don't see myself being comfortable walking around a Ren Faire all day in these. Definitely a little disappointing since I usually expect more comfort from Madden shoes.
My other minor complaint is that two of the buckled straps on each boot are not secured through loops or anything, so they tend to move around the ankle noticeably.
I do like them enough to keep them, so I guess I'll be experimenting with different kinds of insoles on these.
If you love the look of these and don't mind a bit of break-in time, buy them. If you don't want to bother with breaking them in, keep looking. "

Fits tight, hard to get on
" The fit is a little tight and they are really hard to get on. I don't have big feet or ankles so it is due to the way the boot is made, these also need a cushion support for the ball of your foot. They are so cute and the heel height is perfect, suggest going up half a size and investing in some cushion support. Sadly, these had to go back. "
