" This is a nice sturdy boot; however, my son wore them once and the faux leather rubbed off on the toes. He is a bit hard on shoes, but it was only the first day and he is in Kindergarten. Last year I purchased the Timberland Back Hiker Boots, I wish i would have purchased them again (but the laces wouldnt stay tied). At least these stayed tied the whole day with the double tie I did before school!! "
