Not worth it and Tight Fit
"I got these in black because they were on sale and had a short heel, which I hoped would be comfortable for walking in the city. However, I returned them because they were too snug around my calf-If you have a calf muscle at all, these are probably not for you. I have normal athletic calves, not wide or anything, but these boots were just a bad fit. They were also narrow and the inside of my ankle hurt because there was too much pressure from the boot. If you have very skinny legs, these may work for you, but if not, I recommend finding something else-plus, you can find nicer leather boots for a lower price! These are pretty boring/simple looking."

Wanted these to be a keeper
"Watched these boots for several weeks. Forgot about them for a couple of days. By the time I checked on them my size 5.5 was sold out. Really loved the looked online so I ordered the last size 6 in black. I really can't say too much about the fit bc of course they didn't fit me they were not in my size. I wouldn't have minded the foot part being a bit big or the calf circumference bc I could wear thick socks but the height of the calf was too tall for me. It hit mid knee which made them stick out at the top in a weird way. I have this problem a lot. I am 4'11 with shorter calf height and regular calf circumference. Sadly, I had to return these. I love the minimal and clean look. I love the simple buckle detail. Pretty comfy. I would recommend them if they fit you properly."

"I have tried to find riding boots in the past and haven't been successful until now. I bought these in brown and absolutely love them. I usually wear an 8.5 but bought these in a 9 to safe on the calfs, and they fit perfect."

Great, comfortable boots!
"Having very small calves,I have trouble fidining boots that do not make me look like a fisherman. It's been exhausting trying to find a pair of riding boots that I liked and that fit my calves at the same time. They are very comfortable, and look amazing. Exactly what Ihad in mind."

1st Ever to write - Worth Comment!
"Currently deployed in Afghanistan I took R&R in October and vacationed in Paris. I needed boots and I needed to shop on-line for APO shipping. I purchased the Bernie Riding Boot. Gambled on a size7 with boot socks (am a narrow 6.5) perfect fit. Slightly narrow in the calf for those LOOKING for narrow calf, perfect with leggin's. Stylish and good-looking. The very best review and compliment was the comfort. Suprisingly, brand NEW -- I am telling you AMAZING... when in Paris you walk and walk a lot! These boots were VERY VERY comfortable, day one! I am back in Afghanistan nearly a month now and I just ordered them in black with only 3-pair left!! Great Boot!! Thanks, Melissa"

Bernie Boots
"Nice, comfy flat boots. A bit loose in the calf area (I have slim calves) but the comfort makes up for it. Added an insole and feel like I could walk pretty far comfortably. Very pleased."

"Bottom line: great boots! I love the low heel which will make getting around in inclement weather easier while still staying warm and stylish. These boots fit true to size as I took my normal 6.5 with no issues. I was worried about fitting a skinny jean into the boot since my calves are 14.5 inches, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to do so. While a bit snug with the jean, it is not uncomfortable in any way and I know the leather will give with wear."

At last, my PERFECT riding boot!
"I, like most ladies, have been searching for that perfect pair of brown riding boots for years. I've never bought any because none have met my high standards (low heel, smooth leather, minimal hardware but still something so it's not plain, no cutout in back, no back zipper, the list goes on). The first pair of these I received, one of the boots appeared to have been constructed using two pieces of leather that were slightly different colors.. almost as if one was shined and treated, and the other wasn't. It was distracting and noticable, so I called customer service to initiate an exchange. The DSW CS reps were SO helpful. They quickly got another pair on their way to me and the new ones are PERFECT! These do run small in that calves which is great for us petite ladies, and the ankle/top of foot fits right as well. I have quite a narrow foot, and the fit is perfect. I think I'll buy some heel lifts to wear with them because it causes less bunching at the ankles, but even without the ankles don't bunch much (you have to expect some with such a low heel). Anyways, buy these! You will not be disappointed!"

Perfect riding boot
"I absolutely adore these boots. They are perfect! They fit nicely around my legs. They are tight enough to wear alone with a dress, but also have enough room for skinny jeans or leggings to go underneath. I absolutely recommend purchasing these."

Good basic
"I spent several months looking for a good, basic riding boot. These are of good quality, comfortable, run true-to-size and will go with everything. The leather is matte and they are pretty flat. If you are looking for something with a "special" feature or element, this may not be for you, but if you are looking for a go-to winter boot, this is great!"

The perfect fall boot
"This is the perfect fall boot. It fits comfortably on the calf (I have average sized calves). I can still tuck in jeans and heavy socks without being too tight or stretching out the boot. I love that it has no heel so walking for a long period of time it still doable. The leather is of really nice quality and looks great. Great buy."

"I had been looking for a good quality riding boot for everyday wear for a year and this pair is perfect! I got my normal size and it fits very nicely. I have skinny legs so boots that fit are hard to find but these actually fit (with a little room left over). Very excited about these!"

Great riding boots!
"I did a TON of research into riding boots and loved these as soon as I saw them. I ordered a 1/2 size down and they fit perfectly. They look great with skinny jeans or leggings and are easy to dress up or wear with casual outfits. Compared to other boot prices, these are affordable are very stylish. Highly recommend!"
