Good for everyday winter use
" I moved back up north after many years in the south and I needed a winter boot for shoveling and running errands in slushy winter weather. These perfectly fit my needs. I'm truly a 7.5 and I bought an 8. They are roomy, but fine. I love the fur inside and that you can wear them laced up or folded down. Very cute for practical winter boots. They are definitely waterproof. My only complaint is that they are not that thick, so my toes get really cold, especially if I am in the snow. They are fine for light shoveling, running errands in messy weather, playing in the snow with my kids for a little while. If you need serious snow boots for trecking through the snow, I recommend spending more money for something that will keep your feet warm. "

" These are comfortable but not well made at the bottom, my socks were wet when I used in the heavy snow. So its of no use in the winter just for the style! "

Worth the Price
" So far these boots are average. They are comfy since they are lined throughout, however I found that the sole was thin and I could feel everything when walking (almost like flats). Not necessarily a bad thing, but NYC doesn't have the most even streets and sidewalks so it can be a bit weird. It does have great traction though and I haven't felt that I was close to slipping in the snow. One other thing to note is that the leather part at the ankles is already wearing so it is lighter in spots where my boots may rub. Overall they are comfy, definitely waterproof and worth the price. "
