Great boots
"The boots are beauties. Exactly the boots everybody needs. I ordered them half a size down and that was perfect. They are very wide in the foot area but that is easily fixed with inserts and the shaft fits fine. I walk around in them all day and feel great."

Not Impressed
"These boots just didn't impress me at all. The finish is cheap looking and would have guessed they were not leather. The toe shape was unflattering. Made my foot look very wide and round. I have a narrow calf and these were okay. Maybe just a little larger than I hoped. They were shorter than I expected. Needless to say, they are going back."

Not good for slim calves
"I was uber excited about these boots, and had to order a half size up because they weren't available in my size. The shaft circumference for a 9.5 is 16.5 inches, which is HUGE, especially for someone with slim calves like me. I hate it, but I have to send them back because they look like rain boots on me. Super comfy and true to size, but even with jeans tucked into them and thick socks, I couldn't pull off the 16.5 inch circumference."

Probably keeping, but....
"I am on the short side (5' 1")and have trouble finding boots that fit comfortably under my knee and aren't too loose on my calves. These are are perfect on both counts: nice snug fit and just right under the knee. My only complaint is that while they claim to have a leather upper, the whole boot feels kind of plastic. I would have liked a nicer feel."

Great boots but size down!
"I almost always wear a 9, but have another pair of Matisse boots in an 8.5 that fit great, so I ordered the 8.5 in these as well - definitely the right call. My calves measure 15" at the widest point and these boots fit them perfectly."

perfect!
"i have been searching for my perfect riding boot for quite some time, and i think these are it for me! i have very skinny calves (about 13.5") and these fit perfectly with leggings, jeans, or by themselves. they can be dressed up or down and they are a great price for real leather and seem to be super comfy so far. the heel is perfect, great for every day wear."

Love 'em
"These were exactly what I was looking for. I love the buckle detail, they are the right height, actually made of leather, and even fit with jeans. I think they may actually run a little big in the ankle and foot area, but if i went a half size smaller, the calf would be too tight. It just means I have room for thick socks and the bottom of my jeans fit. My only complaint was they had some scuffs on them (which I removed with nail polish remover). I am very happy with this purchase!"

cute but..
"These boots are so cute!! The only problem, and the reason I have to return them, is because of how tight and narrow they were around my toes. I always wear 9.5, but these were ran slightly short. The area of the calf was snug but not tight, my calf circumference is about 15 inches. They are really nice and wish I didn't have to return them!!"

Narrow Shaft
"This boot is really cute and has very soft leather BUT has a very narrow shaft. I've never had issues fitting into a boot before but these I could barely zip up and therefore, I will be returning them which is too bad because they are so cute!"

inconsistent styling
"I fell in love with these boots at the store but my size was not available so the clerk reserved my size at another store. I stopped in and bought them. When I got home, I noticed that the leather did not match. I have the cafe brown boots. The shaft on the left boot is noticeably different (texture, finish and grain) than the right and I don't think will correct over time. I'm returning them."

Disappointing
"I am very disappointed in these boots. The quality of leather seems cheap. The foot bed is hard and slippery which makes it difficult to walk. The right boot was very loose around the ankle, but the left boot wasn't. I expected something much, much, much better for $150. I am returning them."
