Will they get better after they're broken-in..?

"While a nice-looking shoe they are very uncomfortable. They are very kind to the bottom of my feet, i.e. they should be comfortable walking shoes HOWEVER I've got blisters on the backs of both feet (upper heel). Maybe they have too much cushioning... I've worn them 4 times and experienced pain 4 times. I've never had a shoe problem like this in 40+ years. I won't wear them again."
