great for riding
" i bought these for exactly that riding. they are beautiful. i did return them hoping to find something less costly. guess what i reordered today? you cannot beat the quality and comfort. "

Gorgeous!
" I have large athletic calves, so boots rarely fit me. With elastic all the way up, these are perfectly formfitting and very flattering. The leather upper and all leather sole are very nice. The first time I wore them, a stranger in an elevator said they were the nicest boots he'd ever seen a woman wear. Plus, they are comfy all day. Worth the price., "

good for thin calves
