Great for Crossfit!
" Super light-weight and no bulkiness, great shoe for the price. I probably wouldn't recommend long distance running if just starting out, as support is minimal. I tend to order 1/2 size up in anything New Balance, as I have tried several different shoes of theirs and I find they run a bit small. The laces are just a tad long on these for me, but I double-knot so I don't have to worry about them coming undone. "

Great minimalist shoe for everyday wear!
" After realizing that my knee problems were aggravated whenever I wore heels too many days in a row, I was looking for a minimalist shoe that I could wear to the office or out shopping without attracting attention because of the shoe's unusual look! (Several friends swear by the Vibram five finger line, and I love the Saucony Hattori for working out... but neither are exactly low-profile!) The New Balance Minimus was exactly what I needed - a durable, Vibram-designed minimalist sole with a normal-looking adjustable upper. The shoe strikes a perfect balance between sufficient arch support and flexibility. Do plan to go up a half-size from your normal cross-training or running shoe size, unless you only plan to wear the shoe with bare feet. Thanks, DSW, for carrying these amazing shoes! "
