An Elegant Chukka
" This Chukka with its perforated toe and sleek styling is perfect for the office or a night out on the town. A very elegant boot. Fits great and the quality of construction is excellent. Would recommend in both Black and Espresso colors! "

Great dress boots
" These were my first pair of boots, and I'm so happy I got them. They're made well, pretty good leather quality, and they look great. I got the dark brown. These can be worn just as easily with jeans as with a suit, and the medallion toe keeps them interesting. They run a bit large though, so keep that in mind. "

slightly disappointed
" I'm a big fan of Varvatos casual chukkas, but the dress chukkas don't quite live up to my expectations. On the plus side, the shoes are attractive and pretty comfortable, which is why I'm giving them three stars. But I'm disappointed with the quality. First, the sole of the shoe was poorly glued down, leaving a glob of glue that made it paintful to walk on. ( I ended up removing the glue by hand, though now the sole is not fully attached). Second, after only a half-dozen wearings, I'm starting to see a crease on the leather of one shoe (and I'm using a shoe tree). That's a potential deal breaker if it continues. And one final note: The shoes run large, even larger than Varvatos regular chukka. "
