Excellent Shoes
" These are a wonderful pair of shoes. I wear chukkas with business suits as a little extra bit of style, instead of oxfords. These shoes are perfect for well dressed business wear. I have several pairs of dress chukkas, and these, with the subtle toe perforation design (also along the heel) are the best looking of the bunch. The idea of an interesting toe perforation pattern on a dress chukka is, in my searches, unique.
They a perfectly comfortable right out of the box. However, a very important note - these shoes run big...at least 1/2 size. I usually wear an 81/2. It must be noted shoe sizes are nuts these days. Every maker, and even different styles by the same maker, are amazingly inconsistent with sizing. I have two pairs of Jon Varvato shoes which are perfect in 81/2. I had ordered another pair of Varvato shoes, and the were a whole size SMALL, and this style runs at least 1/2 size large. It's a pain in the...neck, but these are such beautiful shoes it's worth a little diddling around, if necessary. Buy at least a 1/2 size small, and go from there.
These are wonderful shoes which will bring some unique style to your wardrobe. You won't be disappointed if you buy them. "
