Disappointed
" I have had these shoes for about 3 months, and they just cannot be broken in. I have gone as far as soaking them in water and wearing them wet, but to no avail. I love wearing boat shoes with no socks during the spring and summer, but my heel has been so cut up with blisters that I am, unfortunately, going to shop around for a better pair of boat shoes with a softer leather upper. Maybe I'll be able to get these broken in, but it may take a loonng time. "

Disappointing
" I bought these shoes for my boyfriend for a casual summer work shoe. He has worn other styles of boat shoes in the past and never had an issue. However, the first day he wore these around the office he immediately had heel pain and blisters starting to form on his heels because of the way the back of the shoe rubs. In the few weeks since the first wear, he has tried to wear them more to break them in but nothing is working. We read online that you should soak them to stretch them out, put Vaseline on them (which he tried - it didn't help). I know they are boat shoes but I really don't want to ruin them by soaking them in water! They are nice looking but very disappointing because of the comfort. For the price, I definitely wouldn't recommend them. The look isn't worth them being nearly unwearable. "

Great Groomsmen Shoes!
" Our groomsmen will be wearing these for our wedding and they all love the fit. Wish they came in wide widths, though. The guys are pumped because they can totally wear them again! Can't go wrong with Sperry's! "
