I like them!
" I was looking to buy Clarke, but like the design, felt good on and the price was a little better. A surprise, a great feel. Had them 4 day and wore them for 3 day. "

Shoe broke after 6 months

" I've had these shoes for 6 months. I usually purchase more expensive, well known brands but these were comfortable with a good price so I thought I would try them. They were great until I noticed that the sole of the shoe was split in half sideways. I can bend the shoe and stick my finger through the crack to the inside of the shoe. These are my work shoes (office) and I only wear them to work and back. I don't understand how or why they would fail this badly but they did. I notified the manufacturer of the issue but I don't expect any relief from them. I thought I would share my experience with these particular shoes. I certainly would not recommend them based on how long the lasted. Six months is way too short of time to have such a significant quality issue. If you purchase this shoe, please tread lightly. "

Soles cracked in 3 months
" Wore these shoes on alternating weekedays for 3 months. Both soles are cracked in half. Rain = flooded shoes. "

Comfortable as heck, but flawed sole
" I'm a server in NYC, so, of course, foot comfort is of the highest priority. These shoes were unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period necessary. That is an amazing thing. I proudly shared my find with my colleagues, but wish I hadn't. I was really disappointed when the sole on the right foot split, after 6 months. I feel like a good shoe should last at least a year, and a sole splitting is a huge flaw. That's one of the biggest functions of a shoe! Integrity of the sole. I'm giving a Nunn Bush shoe a try that has an overall better rating, and no reviews about a defective sole. Should have done better research. "
