Will they last?

"My husband got these shoes for running, as he has not had good luck with more structured shoes. He generally wears a size 12 or 13. We went with a size 12 W. They were too short, and I'm hopeful that we will find a 13 W somewhere because otherwise they'll be too narrow. I'm also concerned that because they are so lightweight that the materials won't stand up to the abuse that will be dished out by trail running."
