Top/toe not adjustable
" I was so looking forward to these but they did not work for me. The top of the shoe is not adjustable, so I'm not sure why Clarks made these with a velcro strap there. Under the strap there is just a one-size-fits-all leather shoe (it's like the adjustable strap is for decoration, but it's not even cute; in fact it makes the shoe look more matronly). Anyway, my foot did not fit under the strap and it dug into the top of my foot, so need to return these. This might mean that I have a high instep, so if you have the same issue, beware. Other than that, they seem very comfortable. "
