Beautiful burgundy

"I read some reviews that stated that this boot was fuschia. The pair I received are not fuschia, but rather bourdeax, as described on the site. It's burgundy or the color of a merlot wine. It made a perfect match with a Cole Haan purse I have and I was so excited to keep this boot until I realized that the leather is low quality. The boot arrived to me with some sizeable scratches that affect the color and some of the seams at the top are already fraying. If they are already scratched brand new in a box, what will the leather look like after some real wear? I'm not willing to find out after just paying over $100 for these on sale. I would have loved to have kept these boots, but I don't think they'll hold up well. I think the color would go great with black, brown, grey. It would be a great accent for many outfits. I guess I'll still recommend them only because the color is rich, unique, and versatile. Wish mine hadn't arrived looking as if they had already been worn. As far as fit goes, the back is partly stretchy spandex, so I assume they will adjust to most calf sizes. There is also a side zipper. The detailing on the buckles is pewter and doesn't distract from the overall look."

Very cute & unique!

"The quality of the material is great and the boot fits very comfortably. It is true to the picture on the web site. I agree with the previous reviewer that the color is more fuchsia purple than burgundy. Yet, I find the color unique because of that, which actually lends a bit of edgy look to it."

Lovely Bordeaux Boots

"These are absolutely beautiful! They have a classic riding boot shape. I have found the wine color to be a versatile near-neutral that goes well over skinny jeans, under wide leg pants or with a skirt. When I first tried them on they felt tight/narrow to me compared to my other pair of Enzo boots. However, after just 3 wears, they are perfectly comfortable with no more squeezing/pinching at all. I know these will last a long time. As to the color- I did not agree with another review that called these fuschia. They are more of a cordovan, although darker at the foot than around the leg. You can always darken them more with a little kiwi cordovan polish..."

Not the right color

"The color in this picture is actually a lot darker than the color of the actual boot is. The boot doesn't come in a burgundy but in a fuchsia purple. The color was not what i was expecting and I am returning the boots. They are though an great style and super cute but the color is not something that is timeless or easy to match with much"
