great idea- a little flimsy.
" I have very small ankles and ballet shoes always slip. The design of these shoes are fabulous and stay on my feet perfectly. However, the leather is a little thin and the sole is a hard plastic without much traction. I might take them to a cobbler to reinforce the sole. "

Leather shoes

Cute Overall, But Potential Flaws
" These shoes are very comfortable, and the ankle straps are adorable. The leather appears to be good quality. As mentioned in other reviews, the vamp is VERY short, shorter than it appears in the picture. I do have longer toes, so I have toe cleavage all the way across. The short vamp also has the effect of cutting across the widest part (for many people) of the foot, which makes the foot look wider. My feet are on the narrow side, so it is not too bad looking, but if you have wider feet, the cut will probably accentuate the width.
I really do like the shoes, and while I wish the vamp were longer (like a real ballet shoe), I will happily wear them. "
