Okay Boot
" These boots really are meant for wide-calf people. As a college athlete with wider calves, I thought these would be perfect, but they swallowed my calves. They are also very wide through the ankle and gap unattractively if you only have wide calves and not wide ankles. I wouldn't recommend these because of the gaping problem. I also did not like the look of the leather. While it's real leather, it's a bit cheap looking. "

Fabulous Boots!!!
" I looked all over for the perfect riding boot. It was hard to find one that comfortably fit over jeans and didn't look too tight. I ordered this online based on the shaft measurement. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. They were comfortable right out of the box. The only area that was a little uncomfortable was where the zipper bent into my leg right above the ankle. It got a little sore after wearing them an entire day, but nothing that made me want to take the boots off. I was a little worried about the design on the top cuff, however I hardly notice it and I think it looks nice when I do. Completely happy with my purchase! "

great boot for wide calves
" This is the second time I have bought this boot. The first time was 2 years ago, in all black, now they are very worn out and needed a replacement. Decided to go with the two-tone version this time for added versatility and I love them just the same. They fit my wide calves which is a very tall order for a boot and they are comfortable to wear on long days at work or for a city hike. I would even horse ride in them if they weren't just so pretty! "
