Fits well, back looks very strange
"The boot fits really well, I bought it in a half size larger than my regular size. The front of the boot and the heel look and feel really good, but the back is a strange stretchy, thin-ish material that takes away from the look of the boot. I'm sure it would be a good boot for those intending to stuff thicker pants inside the boot shaft (the stretchy material has a lot of give) but I had to take this one back because I couldn't get over how different - and frankly, a little cheap - the back of the boot looked."

Perfect every day boot
"As a working mom of a toddler ( and pregnant) I need a stylish boot for work and weekends that can go w dresses, black pants, leggings and jeans and most important are comfortable and can be cleaned.... These are them! Searched all winter for a replacement for some old ones I LIVE in and found these as my new every day boots. Highly recommend"

They Squeek!
"I love the look of these boots, but after wearing the 2nd time something happened inside the heel of the right boot. Now it squeeks every time I step down. I have to follow up with DSW to see what they can do for me. Other than that, they are comfortable and very versatile. I just hope DSW can send me another pair or suggest something for the squeek."

FINALLY!!
"I had been searching for several months for a comfortable, versatile, black boots and couldn't find one that would work - until these!! The calves are a tiny bit big, but I have extremely small calves and they still fit pretty good. They are really comfortable, and I also bought up on 1/2 size just because I like to have a little extra room in my boots for thicker socks. These look great with jeans or dresses, I love them!"

Beautiful but I would change the heel
"Great and comfy boots, gorgeous looking but unfortunately the soft nice leather also wraps around the heel which meant to me that the very first day I wore them they got ruined... If you walk in "safe" floors or inside much you are set but using them to tour around manhattan was not the best idea... With a different heel I would have found them perfect!"

"Exactly as described and expected - really like how tall these are compared to most boots. I wear a 7 in most shoes/heels, but 7 1/2 in boots and these are perfect."

Good Boots for wide calves!!
"These boots truly are great for people with wider calves. I have 17 inch calves and these fit perfectly around them and the boots are real leather which is hard to find. Granted the back panel is elastic, but it's totally fine for casual wear. I do have a wide foot so it was a bit tight in that area. I think (and hope) they stretch out over time. Overall a great buy for you gals with more athletic legs =)."

"I love the shoes. I have small calves so, the back is the shoes has space in it. Besides that, they are pretty comfortable and can be work with many different outfits."
