it says is wide but it is not

Wedge Sandal
" The previous reviews are valid; however, a little effort is needed in breaking in this sandal. If you pull the cross strap towards the toe, the straps lay flat. I have a wide foot and these are very comfortable. I bought all colors available since buying shoes that fit due to my wide foot yet sylish are a nighmare for me. I recommend these sandals. Five minutes after I put them on, I received compliments on them (bronze).. Great buy for the price. "

" I ordered the blue sandal which is actually purple and ill fitting.the straps do not lay flat against the top of the foot...I'm returning them. "
