Just what I'm looking for...
" I bought the Dolce Vita Java in black and ended up returning them because of the fading effect on top of the shoes and the cheap looking leather straps. I came across these boots and ended up buying in black and tan from the start and am so glad I did! They're a perfect height for NYC walking, are comfortable and have received plenty of compliments on them. They've been mistaken for the more expensive Sam Edelman version, which look pretty much the same.
I wear a size 6, bought both in 6, and they fit fine. I can definitely fit some insoles, if needed. I would definitely recommend buying! "

Just OK
" I guess I'm always looking for the perfect shoe for a great value, this one is not it. I love the style, and the height is nice at less than 2 inches. I think I can do 2 inches comfortably. But it doesn't have much interior padding, so I've added insoles to fix it. The heel is especially slippery and makes loud pounding noises when I walk (I don't love that). I also recommend ordering down a size because it runs big. I do like the versatility of the style though. And because I've already worn it outdoors, I'm forced to keep it. I would not buy again after it wears out, because I don't believe you should have to try to "fix" its problems while it's still new. Still in search for the perfect shoe with plenty of comfort and more traction. "
