"I loved this boot the moment I saw it. After putting them on, I was quite impressed with the craftsmanship of the boot - the zipper doesn't feel cheap, the material is a nice, soft leather, the sole is comfortable, and the slight platform with traction on the bottom of the sole makes these so easy to walk in. The one negative for me is that it gapes at the top, as it seems to be made for much wider calves than what I have. But, I will try to get them taken in, as the colour and quality are fantastic."

If you're 5' or smaller, this boot will not work
"I have been looking for the perfect boot all season, and then they arrived, and then they were too tall! They hit mid-knee on me which is very uncomfortable walking and sitting. They are gorgeous boots, absolutely perfect, except for being too tall for me!"

Almost Perfect
"I love these boots for their tough-looking soles and stylish zipper. They have attitude but not so much that you couldn't wear them in a conservative office. One thing to be aware of - the leather upper is kind of a crinkly texture - not what I expected but I don't mind. I wish they were smaller around the top but I will wear them happily with jeans and leggings."

My classic go-to work boot
"I love these boots! They can be dressed up and dressed down. The traction on the sole is great because the heel is super high and not everyone shovels sidewalks down to pavement. The calf was a little wide for me, but I was able to have them taken in."

AWESOME
"These boots comfirm why I buy the Nine West brand. They are extremely comfortable despite the heel height. I will be able to dress them up or wear them as a casual boot. I am tempted to order them in brown. GREAT boots!"

Stylish, comfortable height with snow traction
"I had been searching for the "perfect" chocolate brown boots when I saw these in wine. I bought them to wear with pant and skirt suits to my office job (they match great with brown, navy, charcoal, and black). I live in NE Ohio and the parking lots and walkways are often slippery. I chose these for the fact they are real leather and look much like a riding style boot while adding height to my short frame. I typically wear high heels so the heel height is perfect. I loved them so much I bought another pair in black. I get more mileage out of these given they can be worn to the office and casual with jeans as well. While the price is higher than I had originally considered spending, the quality you get in a real leather boot is definitely worth it, especially if you can apply rewards. And you earn more rewards doing it! Thanks DSW!"

Nice boots, high heel
"I like the boots and they are much of what you expect based on the description online. The boots are of high quality, made well with nice leather and a soft liner. I ended up returning them because the heel was too high which impacted the comfort level."

A little expensive, but worth it.
"As a frugal shopper, I did a ton of research to find the best pair of tall, leather high heeled platform boots. I wanted something classy, sexy, and affordable and luckily I found them here and got them for Christmas. The pros: Real leather, great quality both in the heel, sole, zipper and craftsmanship. Super high heel with slight platform which makes them really comfortable. The sole has treds which enable you to walk on any terrain without the possibility of slipping (I usually have to buy a $4 pair of non-skid pads and apply them to all of my heels).
Cons: Price. I was really hoping to spend under $100, but after searching everywhere, couldn't find these for less. That being said, I truly believe I will have these boots for a loooong time so it's worth the investment. I don't wear them all the time because I don't always want to be 4" or so taller, also I put a boot holder in them to make sure they stand up. Fit seems like it could be a 1/2 size on the smaller end, but I'm not sure if it's just the pair I have. I usually wear a 6, but went to a 6/12 bc I always add a pair of Aldo terry-cloth insoles to all of my shoes and wanted to make sure they fit. Also, I wanted a 1/2 size bigger to ensure that the shaft would fit over a pair of black skinny pants, which they do. They may have been snug if I stayed at a size 6 (remember leather stretches, so maybe they would have been fine). I think the shaft is an average fit, my calves are average, but I probably have thinner ankles. Lastly, the black isn't jet black. It's black with a sort of charcoal-ish finish. I'm still okay with it because I can pair these boots with so many outfits.
Bottom line, if you can't afford these, save until you can or wait for them to go on sale. If the price goes down at least $30 I will probably buy them in another color. Also, if you are unsure, try them on (or similar-styled Nine West boots) and make sure the shaft will fit you."

TrendyBoots
"I loved the style as well as color (oxblood) of the boots. However, when I put them on, I noticed that the boot was really snug and tight up to my ankles. After the ankles and all the way up, the boot was huge around my legs. I do have small ankles and calves. Perhaps, it would look better on someone with wide or average calves. Get a half size up."
