" The construction of this flat is as expected for the price point, the style is very smart and the fit is true to size. However, the toe area is very narrow and uncomfortable. Concerned that the leather would not stretch enough due to the structured nature of the toe box and buckle, I exchanged for a half size up. The decision was good for me, but the shoes, though perfect in the toes, do feel a little wide elsewhere. "

If I could just shave down my toe a wee bit...
" ...I'd still own this super cute shoe. But I don't have the tools, and DSW doesn't have the half size, so we had to part ways. Sigh. "

OMG LOVE THEM.
" So, I'm a teacher and I stand all day. I love wearing heels, but not all day at work, so I'm trying to buy some flats that aren't casual - that have a more upscale, classier look to them - a business-like, lady-like shoe. This is IT!! I bought them in black and that gorgeous cobalt blue that they are calling violet - its more like a cobalt/royal GORGEOUS blue. I just love them. BUT - They ARE a little snug in the toe area, as another reviewer had mentioned - I was SO bummed and my days of being in pain to look good are dwindling fast. I insist on shoes being made well and I'm willing to pay for that. These, being leather uppers AND leather-lined should break in well (they'd be perfect if they had leather soles). That being said, I wore the black one's first and I was indeed in pain by 3 o'clock. So I broke out my secret weapon: I have the help of a "toe-box shoe-stretcher" (girls you NEED one of these - they're life-changing) which made them far more bearable. I stretched the toe of the blue one's before wearing them and there was a huge difference. In another stretch-&-wear or two, they'll be perfect - I can already feel the leather softening in one wear. I absolutely love these. They make me feel like a lady. A sophisticated lady :) Yay! "
