Nice boots, but...
" They are very nice boots with a simple design and I really like the way they look. That said, the leather is neither smooth nor soft. It's not pebbled exactly, but textured. They have a full length zipper as well (which is fine, but the description given wasn't clear on that.) My biggest problem with the boots is the calf width. I have small calves and these are enormous on me. They look like swashbuckling pirate boots. With only the one picture on the website, it was hard to tell what they would look like. I have other boots that are a half inch smaller circumference, but apparently it makes a huge difference. Sadly, they are going back. "
