Best support time and time again...
" I am a long distance runner with flat feet that could make a frog blush.
I was fitted for Mizunos years ago after trying other brands for pronator support. The "shoe guy" stressed the open toe box and structured arch support, as well as sturdy insole shank. I have tried other brands without the same success (including hiking/trail runners).
The wave Inspire 8 fit just as well as my first Mizunos and haven't failed me. (It looks like you'll be running on banannas, but the "yellow" is more a neon green... which at least seems to impress my dogs, if not my wife!)
I recommend these shoes as Mizuno has not changed their support system. However, if this is your first pair- definitely try a pair in a store first!
