a dance shoe perhaps; a wallflower 4 anything else

"i was looking for a cross training shoe. this looked cute, so i took a chance on it and bought it online. i can see how some would like this if they are dancing in zumba or something like that and don't need a lot of support in a shoe. this shoe fits snugly and is VERY low to the ground, meaning there's not really much in the way of cushioning between your foot and the ground. if you cross train, like i do (weights, plyometrics, elliptical or even walking), though, i would not recommend this shoe. my feet and ankles were actually fatigued after a workout -- that has NEVER happened to me before. i wore them outside or else i would return them as well. i wish they wouldn't have put the words "cross training" on here- -- it's misleading for people like me who actually cross train.
in short: cute shoe. snug. (don't even think about orthotics if you use them.) NO foot support. so if you like to feel like you're sort of barefoot but in a snug shoe, this is the shoe for you. if you require any sort of support in an athletic shoe, avoid, avoid, avoid."

No Need to Break In This Pair

"Since I had a positive experience with Ryka's walking shoe, I thought that I purchase this pair for Zumba. To accommodate wearing the sports socks, I got it in a half size than I would normally wear. Maybe that's the difference, as I didn't need to break in either pair, unlike the Nike Musique pair."

Good fit

"I am not easy to fit so ordering online for shoes is always tricky. Luckily the reviews I read were accurate. These shoes fit my slightly wide feet and with a toe pad in the right shoe I have no pain while doing zumba. The best thing was that I got them cheaper online than nationally advertised and I used my birthday coupon and saved a total $27!! This is a brand new shoe that is not even in stores yet. Deal of the year for me. Happy customer."

Bought for Zumba

"I've worn these once and can feel the plastic outer bands when I flex my foot. Not sure if this will bother me or not. So far I've only worn them for Zumba at home on the carpet. I love the color and look and think they will be great with the pivot point on the bottom. They don't feel like they'll have enough support for other higher impact classes though. I will probably only wear these for Zumba. Also for anyone who's never worn Ryka's before - you should always get a half size bigger. I normally wear a size 7 and always get a 7.5 in Ryka's."
