"I ordered these as well as 5 other styles of Mercanti Fiorentini shoes. I am adamant about buying shoes not made in China and it is getting harder and harder to do so. Thankfully I happened upon this brand here at DSW and I am thrilled that I can buy Italian made shoes for the same prices as cheap imports. That said, like all of the other Mercanti Fiorentini shoes I ordered, I chose these in an 8, when they arrived they are actually 38 (Euro sized). I am always a Euro 38.5 so had I known these were sized that way I would have opted for the 9 (assuming it is a 39). All of the other styles in 38 were too small for me; this tan flat is the only exception. These fit longer in the footbed and wider than any of the other styles I tried and are the only pair I do not have to send back for a bigger size. So, I would say these fit like an American 8 or a Euro 38.5. The tan color is perfectly nude, the leather is really soft & they do have leather bottoms, so they will not be an everyday shoe for me but they are keepers! They literally feel like I am wearing house shoes!"

nice and comfy/ casual for summer
"These look great with a tan. They are casual, but because the quality of the leather is good they can be worn with a slightly more elegant (not dressy) maxi dress. Very comfortable, you can tell the leather is good quality (soft/ flexible/ pretty). They are actually made in Italy, not Brazil as listed (which is is good, it says Made in Italy on the shoe...most of us know the best shoes/ highest quality come from Italy and Spain). The arches don't have a ton of support so probably not made for all-day walking, but they are comfortable enough to be worn all day in the heat. They run slightly long and wide (I wear between 9.5 and 10) which is also good for the heat so that your feet are still comfortable as they expand. I'm happy with my purchase."
