"Past reviewers who remarked that this shoe runs long were right! I took their advice & ordered a full size smaller than normal. The boot was still slightly too long, but I figured a pair of thick socks would solve that problem. The construction & materials are excellent, the leather was high quality and I LOVED the pop of pink in the back (although not visible while wearing, since these need to be zipped up or they will fall off your feet)!
Ultimately, I decided to return the boots for 2 reasons: 1. They were too western inspired to work with my wardrobe (they looked more costume than authentic on me). 2. The shaft of the boot was much too wide to tuck into pants, but looked strange with skinny jeans tucked into the shaft. Maybe it was just me, but these seemed hard to style."

Rockin' da boots
"I really like these. I wanted a neutral leather bootie with a small heel and these are exactly what I was looking for. They do run a bit big overall. I am often a 10 and sometimes a 9.5 (I measure a true 9.5 with a ruler). I ordered these in a 9.5 and they were quite big with a thin sock. When I doubled the thin sock or wore a thick sock, they fit fine. Some may be able to get away with ordering a half size down. They are pretty comfy. I've worn them all day with only a slight pinching on my little toes by the end of the day, but I think that happens with most shoes that have any sort of heel action going on and a front that narrows as these types of boots do. They are very cool looking. I love the mixed fabrics (leather on the bottom, canvas on the shaft). The canvas definitely keeps them in the more casual category, but that part is hidden under a pair of regular pants, so you can wear them to work if you want. It all depends upon how polished you need to be. They do have a bit of a broken-in look."

"This Nicole boot is really adorable. Truly Western inspired. It does run big (thanks for the tip in the description, DSW!). I'm anywhere from a size 7 to 7.5. With Nicole's, I'm usually a 7. I ordered these in 6.5 and they fit and I can even wear with a sock. I find that I can't show the cute pop of color in the back, though, because if I leave that unzipped, the boot is too loose and unstable (like it will slip off my foot)."
