my first first Skechers
"My first Skechers and I'm happy with them. I would try one of their other styles. These shoes have good support and plenty of room for the toes. Bonus, the shoe laces are just the right length, not too long."

Great Work Shoes

"I work at a bar and I'm on my feet for 8-15 hours/ shift, and I work about 40 hrs/week. I've worked out in these shoes, climbed mountains in these shoes.. these are my go-to's when I'm doing strenuous activity. I love them! They give me an extra inch of height which is helpful at my job. When I wear any other shoes at work, my feet KILL by the end of the shift. These shoes have always made my feet feel good, even after standing all day. That being said, I wear them so often that after about a year, I need to throw them out and buy a new pair. Your basic wear-and-tear, but I have bought this same shoe every year for the last 4 years. The only con is about a year ago, the fabric for this shoe changed from a soft faux-leather to a plastic, shiny one. The soft fabric shoes lasted much longer than the new plastic version: I somehow had a huge rip in the toe of the new shoe right after buying my last pair, where as the leather-y one never ripped."

Lifesaver!
"First of all, I agree with the reviewer you'll need to buy longer laces if you got the wide width. The included laces (round laces about 63 inches long) are way too short. And I agree with the reviewer who said these are kind of hard inside, at least at first, though I think they break in fairly quickly.
That said, I am really happy with these shoes! I work in retail sales support, so a comfortable, safe, thick-soled shoe is absolutely required, especially at this time of year when I'm on my feet more than ever. They are a pleasure to walk in all day; they even negate the weakness in my left ankle, so it doesn't bother me at all when I'm working. They've also felt very safe for climbing and the thick sole is a lifesaver in back areas with sharp things on the floors. I think I'll make it through the holidays this year after all!"

Great for work
"I bought these for working as a waitress and they're great for being on your feet for long periods of time. The soles are slip-resistant and the shoes are very supportive. That said, the inside is somewhat hard, so I'd recommend getting some gel inserts if you prefer a softer shoe inside."

Great for work
"I am on my feet at least 10 hours per shift, and after almost 2 weeks my feet are still happy at the end of the day. I added a pair of inserts (always do) but the slip resistence is perfect, they fit and wear great. I will more than likely purchase these again when I need new work shoes."

"I work at a doctors office, and I am on my feet all day long. Your feet are your foundation of your body. They have to be supported and with comfort to be able to make it through a 10 hour day.
I have been having trouble finding black sketchers until I found them at DSW. I am so happy with my purchase from DSW. I purchased them on line and received them in the mail within days. DSW is my "NEW" shoe store. I highly recommend DSW

So Far, Good Work Shoe.
"I normally wear Skechers tennis shoes for my work shoes, as some styles come with slip resistant soles & they come in Wide Width. While a little on the plain-looking side, they are fairly comfortable. A little bit stiff but supportive. However, a true Wide Width shoe requires a longer set of shoe laces & these are not long enough if you lace them all the way to the top hole. Since I couldn't lace them up all the way, I nearly walk out of them as they are not tight enough around the ankle."

"Bought these shoes for my daughter for her first job in catering. She is on her feet for 16 hour shifts, and said the shoes are comfortable, and that the non-slip soles are perfect. Would definitely recommend them."

"Ran VERY long, and although it seemed like it would be comfortable enough, the moment I tried to tie the laces one of the loops that secure the lacings popped right off! :( Returned. Could be a great shoe if true-to-size and lacings had more secure loops. Sigh... back to work on my feets again..."
