Not what I was hoping for
" I have been on a long search for cognac riding boots, and it looks like that search will have to continue. The boot leather was not as soft as shown in the image. It is a shinier leather and a little blotchy, which was fine with me. I tried the boots on with a pair of skinny jeans, and as I was pulling the zipper up, it split at my calf (for both boots!). I have never had this happen with a pair of boots before, and my calves are relatively slim (around 14 1/2"). Sadly, I will be returning.

OK Ballet Flats

" I am on a search for some great brown leather flats that can last me a long time. This was one of the pairs I ordered online to compare. 1. The shoes I received were two different color browns. I think it is just the dye lot for the leather, but it looks like I have on two different shoes. 2. The shoe seemed to run small. I have average width feet and generally shoes fit a little loose on me. These were pretty snug - toes and heel. They weren't attractive enough for me to consider buying up a size. They remind me of a more affordable version of ballet flats you can get from more expensive retailers. So, that part was nice. In the end, just not for me.

" I would agree with the person before me that these boots do run very slim in the leg, which was slightly to my advantage. I would like to point out that the color of the boots runs more on the red side than the brown shown online. I like the way they fit and the leather is very good quality. I am just trying to determine if the red cognac color is something I want. I'm hoping that the boots stretch out a little in the calf since they were very fitted when I tried them on with leggings and skinny jeans. Although, I would prefer they are snug now instead of having a huge gap in the back from the start.

" I typically order boots a half size larger than my normal shoe size. These boots were still too small, even without socks or tights on. My heel kept getting stuck on the stitching at the back of the boot when trying to get my foot in. The leather is stiff to move around in as well. Also, the color was darker than I was hoping for (I got the brown). Was really hoping these would be my fallback camel colored riding boot, but will reluctantly be returning.
