HUGE shaft
" I found the foot to fit very snug and the shaft to be just HUGE around my calves. Yes, I have thin legs but never would have thought these would be so big around based on description and other reviews.

Bring back more sizes
" I bought these in dark brown somewhere else and like them so much I came here looking for black. The styling and sizing is spot on. I like that they come up a few inches (I am tall and inevitably all my pants are too short). I needed insoles for arch support (as I do with most shoes) but was able to add to my normal size without any problem. My only complaint would be that the sole is plastic not rubber. As such it doesn't bend much and can be noisy on hard floors. Bring these back in more sizes!!!

Buy this shoe!
" Very stylish, very comfortable, leather look amazing. I wear with dress pants to work and also with shinnies and leggings. I am a wedge fanatic because of the stability, and a Clarks fan because of the comfort. They broke the "old lady shoe company" thinking with this shoetie!! The have a bit of a platform so the heel doesn't feel too high. Rearranging my wardrobe so I can wear them all the time!

Nice leather, excellent boot choice
" I have tried about 25 different kinds of boots. I wanted black leather boots that my skinny calves didn't swim in, that didn't have a pointy toe like the cowboy boots out everywhere. These fit the bill very well. I'm a size 8 or 8-1/2, the 8's fit well even with socks. I love the lug sole, but wish it continued onto the heel. Instead, the heel is hard plastic and makes a loud click-clacking when I walk so that's the only reason these don't get 5 stars.
They are not tight on my legs, but not huge either. Skinny pants work well, a skirt might emphasize my chicken legs but I am willing to live with it. The toe box is more rounded than almond, but not entirely round. If you have toe problems you will have nice wiggle room in them. Lastly, I was able to put an arch support inside for my plantar fasciitis. I am thinking I will buy the brown also if I catch a deal, to replace some non-leather cheapies in my closet. Very happy with my purchase.
