Excellent boots, very very stylish and comfy
" Ok, so here we go...I've been on the lookout for some boots (zip-up) for about a year. I've looked at everything at DSW.com and at YOOX.com, to no avail. Everything that looked good costed $250+. I landed on these Rockports by luck when shopping at one of my local DSWs. They fit like a glove, and best of all, looked sleek AND were comfortable. I liked 'em so much I picked up another pair just in case they were to ever go out of stock (made that mistake once with the Sandro Moscoloni Arthur/Prescott). Anyhow, if you're looking for sleek boots without all the bulk, this is the boot for you. You won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous Wingtip
" In Cognac color...tough to find quality and comfort in this style of shoe, but somehow, Cole Haan managed to pull it off. Hidden Nike Air heel insert adds to the mystique. DSW needs to find a way to carry more Cole Haan shoe styles. Love 'em!

Outstanding boot that's ridiculously comfortable
" And stylish? How can you go wrong?! This boot is sleek...looks great with slacks or jeans, and is comfortable enough to wear all day long. Also of note: they are easy to put on and off thanks to the zipper that goes all the way to the base of the boot. Wish they came in brown/cognac!

Looks great, but not too comfy
" This is a beautiful-looking shoe, but it's not quite as comfortable as I had hoped. The shoe runs narrow and short, which probably contributes to the comfort. I wear a size 10 - 10.5, and even erring on the size of caution buy getting the 10.5 left me with a fit that left much to be desired. I ended up going into the actual DSW store to pick up a set of Cole Haan wingtips with the built-in NIke AIR heel, and wow...what a difference. The color was not quite what I wanted (light brown vs. dark brown), but the wearability sold me.

For narrow feet
" Let me start by saying that love Florsheim's 2011 and 2012 lineup. They make outstanding shoes that offer a ton of value. The Welter slip-on fell way short of my expectations though. The shoe is pretty narrow (i wear size 10, medium) and the size 10 I ordered was ridiculously uncomfortable. I had a pair of my thinnest socks on (Kirkland dress socks) and they were still too narrow. The shoes look great, with a slightly "waxed" look (not too shiny) but if the shoes are uncomfortable, why bother? You'd be better off searching for a nice pair of the 2008 - 2010 Florsheim Corbins. They are a lot nicer.

Better to opt for the Florsheim Corbin
" these look great on the rack, but they don't necessarily look great when you pair them up with your favorite pants. The split toe is what kills it, and they aren't quite as comfortable as you might expect from a shoe with an MSRP of $165. Regardless, if you're looking for a slip on that still offers style AND comfort, get the Florsheim Corbins. I bought them from DSW 2 years ago, but they no longer carry them at my local warehouse.

Best Chuka Oxford Around
" Lately, a lot of the holiday catalogs from Jos. A. Bank, Johnston & Murphy and Macy's have been finding their way into my mailbox. And every model or photo has slacks, jeans or khakis paired with "Chuka" boots. And so I ventured out to get a pair at DSW. I tried on every single pair. These are the most comfortable, and looks as good, if not better, than the pricier shoes out. The finish is really nice, and has that "soft" look. I opted for the "Bees Wax" color, which is "Brown" on DSW's site. The Dark Brown version looked good, but I already had a pair of shoes in that color.

Looking for comfortable Wingtips?
" Then these Rockport Zerini's are for you! They don't offer the refinement found on some of the pricier Mercanti Fiorintini or Florsheim Wingtips, but they are comfy. They do run slightly short, so get 1/2 a size larger. I wear a 10, and I had to get a 10.5. The finish on the shoe looks understated, which is what I wanted. You can wear these with jeans and they look great. They have the adidas adiprene inserts so your feet feel good, even after an 8-hour day at work. I wish they were a bit shinier though, so I could wear them with slacks.

Best slip-on dress shoes, period.
" The most comfortable dress shoe I've worn. I picked up 4 pairs (2 pairs of black, 2 pairs of brown) but ended up returning the black ones because they didn't look that great after about 3 days of use. I highly recommend these shoes, especially for those of us who are always in a hurry and don't have time to tie their shoelaces (or don't wear their shoes in the house).

Not quite what New Balance shoes are known for
" And that's uncomfortable shoes. You'd be better off sticking to the classic 993. Obviously, at roughly double the price, it's not an easy choice. But if you want a pair of GOOD running shoes, the 993 by New Balance is the only way to go. It's unfortunate, because these MR758's are really good-looking kicks.
