Pretty Can Sometimes Equal No Bueno
" Lovely shoe... lovely color (in berry). I give them three stars just because of the pretty factor.
I very much wanted to love these shoes and, even moreso, be comfortable wearing them.... I tried them on upon their arrival and immedietly recgonized how uncomfortable they were going to be with my toes squished like sardines in a tin can and my heels were slipping out of the back when I walked, and not because they were too big for me ~ any smaller and my feet would not have fit. In an effort to try to fix the problem and allow me to keep the pretty, lacey shoes, I bought heel inserts. I could barely get my foot in the shoe without the insert being pulled off. The shoes are very stiff and I just know that I would want to tear the shoes off my feet and burn them within 15 minutes of wearing them, so I returned them. There's too many pretty shoes out there for me to suffer like that.
Perhaps someone out there can find them to be perfectly comfortable, but this shoe addict is not one of them. Moving on.....

Comfy, Cute
" I love, love B.O.C.shoes... they are super comfy. I love the ivory/champagne color.. it goes with everything. My friend's dog chewed my B.O.C. flip flops so I needed new ones... I don't love the little heel on this shoe, but it is still very cute and I love how big the flower is. I prefer my flip flops flat... but this was the only B.O.C. sandal that resembled the ones that got eaten :(

Oh, you WANT these heels.
" As if being 5'11 isn't tall enough all by itself... I just HAD TO HAVE these shoes. I bought the blush pink ones and the color is wonderful.... will go with anything. I had a hard time deciding what size based on the reviews and my local DSW didn't carry the shoe for me to try on. I opted for the 9 1/2 when I generally wear a 10. I figured... c'mon... it's a 5-inch platform shoe... it's not going to be crazy comfortable no matter how it fits and I'd rather my foot be secure rather than slip out of it so I can deal with a 1/2 size smaller if it's a little tight.
I'm glad I went for the 9 1/2. My foot is perfectly snug in it... and I even have room for heel inserts for a little added security.
It's a GORGEOUS shoe.... I love the round toe and the platform, with the reptile print layer... I love that the shiny heel is the same color as the shoe itself. I will be wearing them to my 20th high school reunion next weekend and I'm going to go ahead and give them five stars, eventhough I have not yet confirmed the actual comfort level. But for looks alone.... I'll go out on a limb and give them top rating!
Assuming you know how to work a pair of 5-inch heels and aren't shy about being noticed when you enter a room.... stop looking at them..... pick a color... and buy them! You will be happy you did!

Oh My!
" Considering that these boots are not horribly expensive, I was a little concerned about whether they would look "not expensive". I bought them in gray and they are just lovely. They seem true to size as I'm a 10 normally, and the 10 fits perfectly, with just enough room for a thin sock. I love the corset backing... I have thin legs, particularly in the calves, so it's nice to have some control over the tightness of the upper part, which has always been an issue with me in the past-- other boots are often too big around. I also enjoy that they can be folded down to become a knee length boot. Versatility is never a bad thing and when the over the knee boot trend dies, I can still wear them as a tall, slouch boot.
The material is thin.... which for Florida "fall/winter" is perfect.... but the boots don't look flimsy. I cannot say how comfortable they are as I've only worn them a little around the house when they first arrived (we're still in the 90's here!), but I'm thinking that I will be wishing that the hidden platform were 1" vs 1/2" to make them a tad bit more comfortable on the step.
I didn't give in to the trend last season.... but I succumbed to the temptation this go-around. At 5'11...I've got a lotta leg and I'm certain I can rock these, just as soon as the temperatures allow me the chance.

Can't go wrong w/ grommets & ribbon for your feet!
" I loved this shoe when I first saw it online.... I couldn't find it at my local DSW so I decided to take a chance on it. It is for sure a sexy, unique bootie that's a little fancy without paying a fortune. It seems to be pretty true to size, I'm a 10 and the 10 fits just fine, but, for sure, with no room to spare.
From the online picture, I thought the black bootie had gold grommets, but they are a pewter/silver. The only thing I wish different is the fact that at the back of the heel, the material flares a little bit, which is fine, but I think a zipper would make me feel like my foot were more secure. Then again, a zipper might be a bit much with the grommets and I'd rather have the grommets.
It's a very pretty , flirty shoe and while it's not THE most comfortable heel I own, I look forward to being able to wear the booties with black tights and a little winter dress.

Sexy and Comfortable.... the perfect combo.
" I needed a simple, black pump.... and as soon as I saw this shoe, I had to try it on and I was pleased that my feet felt comfortable! I bought these in black patent and this shoe will be perfect for so many things. I have narrow feet with *weak arches* so I don't wear shoes that don't have sides or strap my foot completely in. I really wanted a shoe that was a little different in design than what I have in my closet and this was a good compromise because it's cut out on only one side so my foot still feels secure. I love the bunching at the toe, which gives the shoe a unique look without being over the top so it's still going to be my "staple go to black heel" in my closet.

Super Cute
" I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. Nice platform for comfort and the polka dot style is so cute. The slingback helps for security on the foot so she can wear them with ease. Nice shoe!

Muy Caliente!!!
" At 5'11, sometimes I don't want a platform but I want the high heel and this shoe delivers! The downside to a non-platform heel... I am pretty sure my ankles will take a bit of abuse after spending a night in them so I think some gel inserts are in order here.
I bought these shoes in the brown and they are gorgeous! A great strappy heel for summer time. I bought another pair of Carlos shoes in 1/2 size smaller and they were perfect but I kept true to my size for these. I probably could have gone down the 1/2 size again in this style as I do have a little bit of room, but with the zipper back coming up pretty high around the heel, my foot is secure in them.
I may buy the beige ones, too as I just love this style! A gorgeous addition to my growing shoe collection....

Holy Hotness!
" As soon as I saw this shoe... I had to have it. I just love the rich, burnt color of the red... and with a shiny platform and heel... so hot! I'm 5'11 and insist on wearing very high heels so much of the time, but I demand comfort when doing so. These shoes are very comfortable considering how high the heel is. I normally wear a size 10, but those ran a little big on me so I went down a 1/2 size and they fit perfectly. There's a zipper at the heel which makes them easy to get on and off. If you want a sexy shoe.... this is it. Go get it.

Zeelicious!
" SO CUTE! Love the plum colored heel/flower with the zebra print and I love the peep toe! I'm 5'11 and love wearing my 4"-5" heels, but... sometimes, a slightly smaller heel is more my speed and this heel is perfect for when I want lift, without going all the way. I am normally a size 10, particularly in Madden shoes, but... the 9.5 fits me perfectly. Funky, flirty, comfortable... what more could a girl ask for?!

Comfy and No Laces = a good find
" I live in Florida so I like that this shoe allows some air to hit my feet! These are comfy and pretty good looking. No worries about laces to tie and the "camel" color goes with about anything. I don't like bulky shoes of any kind of my feet, athletic, walking, or fancy- these are sleek and simple. I normally wear a size 10 but bought these in a 9.5 and they are perfect.

Almost Perfect!
" What a pretty shoe! It is borderline as far as the fit goes... an extra half size would be make it perfect whearas a full size up, I think, might be a little too much. That aside, it is a great looking shoe that will be perfect for summer and it is very comfortable- no pinching or straps rubbing in the wrong places. Now I just have to get my feet ready for summertime because with this pair and the two other wedge heels I've bought from DSW over the last week, I'm anxious for warm weather!

Fun and Flirty
" This shoe is very narrow so it's not for a wide foot. I'm a size 10 shoe and with Steve Madden, a 10 is for sure needed; I don't suggest going a size or a half size smaller like you can with some brands. I bought the yellow ones and the shade is bright and lovely. I just bought a maroon dress that will go perfectly with them for a fun summer color combo! I'm 5'11 and love a good heel... the wedge is 4", as stated in the description, but it feels like more so if you're looking for a smaller wedge, this might not be the shoe for you.

Hotness!
" For my birthday, I went in for ONE pair of shoes and ended up with two pairs as I could not resist this shoe (or the other one!). This shoe looks fabulous with jeans or a dress. I'm wearing it to a wedding and pairing it with a black pencil dress and some berry colored tights for a pop of bright. It's a very high heel but the shoe is as comfortable as it can be being the style it is. I'm 5'11 and this shoe takes me to new heights. Love it!

Cute and Casual
" I am normally a size 10 but decided to purchase these in size 11 because the 10's were borderline too small. Just a smidge... but the size up made it look as though my foot wasn't so big because it fit better in the shoe. They are comfortable and cute. Perfect for capri pants or a casual jean.
