"I ordered these online and returned them to the store.
The Pros:
They are truly a wide-calf. My calves measure about 15.5" at the widest part and I had no trouble zipping them up. Definitely a good fit around the middle.
The Cons:
They run small. I normally wear an 8 (sometimes a 7.5, depending on the brand) so I ordered these in an 8. An 8.5 would have been better for me.
This was the deal-breaker for me: The opening at the top of the boot was miles wider than it needed to be. They looked like giant rain boots on me. Not the look I'm going for so this was a no-go. I wish manufacturers would start making more boots for women with muscular calves and "normal" knees."
"It's tough to find wide-calf boots that don't gape open at the top. These boots are that unicorn I've been searching for. They fit nicely throughout the calf, plenty of room for my muscles, but without that extra wide opening at the top that so many riding boots have. My only gripe is that the faux leather seems to be scuffing very easily. I'm guessing these are going to look beat-up pretty quickly, but that will be fine for most casual looks. These are good for now, but I'm still on the hunt for a pair of quality leather boots that fit as perfectly as these."

Crazy high arches!
"I am definitely not flat-footed, but the arch on these flip-flops was too much for my feet. I had to return them."
