sadly returning

" I ordered these online in a 7 1/2 and 8 to make sure I get the right fit. Even though I am more often an 8, the 7 and 1/2 fit better, without sliding off my heel in the back. So other reviewers are correct that these do run long. Sadly, I am returning these due to quality since both pairs had some issues.

The 7 and 1/2 I received seemed worn - first off, it was broken in, and was much less narrow than the 8. I wouldn't have minded that since they were comfortable, but the satin was also coming off a tiny bit at the bottom of the heel, and there was a small stain (tip of a pen size) on one of them. That pair also came pretty much just shoved into the box, as if someone returned it but the store clerk never bothered to put the shoes back in the box nicely.

The 8 came in new condition, it didn't seem like anybody tried it on ever and was carefully packaged. I was sad it didn't fit me better, because I would have kept it. But it was way too long for me. It did though have the same problem at the bottom of the heel with the satin coming off, albeit much less. "
