" These boots were exactly what I was looking for! I purchased online and was thrilled with the quality and appearance, but when I tried the boot on over skinny jeans, the top of the boot gapped several inches away from my leg. Instead of tapering to the shape of the calf like a riding boot, they continue at a straight angle from the ankle to the knee. It pained me to return them, but they were not a flattering shape for me.
