Nice looking, have to break in
" I couldn't tell if I liked these shoes or not at first. In black, they look like tap shoes. I got beyond that and I like them now. The 8.5 was too small but the 9 is slightly too big. I don't know if they would have stretched enough to wear them, so I went with the 9. The quality isn't great. I've worn these maybe a dozen times in 10 months and the stitching is starting to fall apart. For a basic shoe to wear to work with pants, they do fine. Don't expect a ton of use out of them.

Cute, but poorly made
" When I first got these shoes, the left one would 'click' when I stepped down on it. There was a small space between the heal and the leather part of the shoe that was doing it. I decided to deal with it instead of shipping them back. The click eventually went away. I wear these about 4 days a week to work and they are very comfy. The outside is holding up very well, but the sole has recently became unattached. Now I have to buy inserts to replace the sole. While these are comfy and nice looking, they aren't the best made shoe I've ever owned.

Cheap looking, painful
" The reviews for this shoe were so good, so I bought them in black. The box was all smashed in when it was delivered, so I felt bad returning them given the box was messed up. I wish I had returned them! They are the most painful shoes ever! They rub againist the back of the foot, and the top rubs against the toes. They are a little big, but not overly big. A smaller size would have been too snug.
The twisty design on the top is nothing like it looks in the picture either.
To top it off, the dye rubbed off on my feet the first day I wore them! No rain or sweat, they just did it on their own. Don't buy these shoes! Not worth any of the defects.

Cute, but too wide in the ankle
" I really wanted to like these, but when they came, I was disappointed. It might be because I have thicker calves, but they are too roomy in the ankles. They slouch, as opposed to being tighter. I am still trying to decide if I should keep them or not.
