" I was looking for a pair of wedges that could dress up shorts and also put me high enough in a maxi dress so it wasn't dragging behind me like a wedding train lol. When I found these, I fell in love! I ordered them in black, a half-size smaller than I normally would because I read they run a little long, which they do. Because of the way the strap is designed- just around the ankle, nothing really securing the back of your foot- my foot slides forward and I probably could have even gone down an entire size rather than just a half-size. These are definitely comfortable, but it is a little annoying always repositioning your foot when it slides forward. I have wide feet though, and there was no rubbing or tight spots, so the fit was good! Overall, I like these shoes. "
