Nice but not what I needed

" First I have to say, I love the boot. It looks nice, and fits comfortably, although I did not wear them long.

Wide Calf: I have a muscular calf, so normal boots tend to be a little uncomfortable around the largest part of my calf. These boots are definitely wide calf - plenty of room to zip over thick pants - tending toward a little too large.

Size of the boot: I usually wear a size 9 shoe, 9.5 running shoe, and get size 10 boots, partially because the toe is generally pointed, but usually so that I can wear heavy socks. I ordered a 10, and they were VERY large. In all fairness I have a narrow heel, but they are much larger than the other size 10s I have. They were baggy with wool socks on. I also agree with other posts that note that they get a little baggy in the ankle area.

Color: They were also more of a "light brown" than a cognac, I didn't get the reddish brown color that I expected. "
