Sassy!
" Great bootie! The heel is skinny and high so thank goodness it's also got a platform! I found it surprisingly easy to walk in and it is comfortable to wear.

Curse my muscular calves!!
" I've been wanting to buy a gladiator sandal for quite awhile now. I saw this one and fell in love with it. Received it and it's gorgeous! Stuck my foot in it... it fits! Went to zip it up... uh oh... whew! I managed to get it zipped up (and it took a minute), BUT... It's rather tight around my muscular calves. :-( It's actually *too* tight but I am determined to make these work! There are actually little elastic gussets on one side of the leg straps that allow for a little more room. If you've got average sized calves, though, I definitely say this is a must buy!

Sharp shoe, but it's not leather
" This is a sharp-looking loafer! I'm always on the lookout for a classy loafer or oxford that I can wear to work and this one did not disappoint. It is not real leather as the title of the shoe would suggest, however. And, I don't know what it is, but the left shoe on me makes "shoe farts" when I walk. Hate that! Hoping it will work itself out.

Love Steve Madden!
" This shoe is what I call "typical Steve Madden." It's a sexy, tall shoe. The only complaint I have is that my heel kind of flops around in the shoe. Not a deal breaker for me in this case. Love this shoe!

Recommended-- With Exceptions
" Love this shoe, BUT... girls with "big legs" (large/athletic calves) really need to proceed with caution and be prepared to turn these away. Although not specified here, I estimate the circumference of the shaft at its widest point to be around 15". There are no gussets, laces, or any other means by which you might get a little leeway in the fit around your legs. You simply zip them up (if you can) and go. So the loss of a star is mostly based on that, but also because they're not leather and the fit through the ankle area was a bit off. Still, they're so sharp!

Mostly a "sitting shoe" ;-)
" This shoe is very attractive, nice and sexy. Having said that, if you're not used to a stiletto heel with no platform to take the edge off, it can be a bit uncomfortable on the ankle and ball of foot (hence the "sitting shoe" comment). I will be up and moving quite a bit when I first debut this shoe and I'm a little nervous about it, although I have been wearing it around the house a bit each day to try to break it in. I refuse to return it for something more "reasonable" because I like it that much -- and it looks good on me! If you're used to this kind of shoe you should have no problem.
