Ankle support in a sandal!
" The straps on these sexy sandals give great foot and ankle support and adjust separately for a perfect fit. The buckles are easy to work and the ones on the foot are more forward than most so they aren't hard to reach. Wooden heels are always good without fabric or leather to peel off and look worn. An odd part about these shoes, which I didn't notice before I bought them, is that only the front of the heel facing under the arch of the almost all black sandal is covered with a shiny silver metal that matches the buckles. It makes them a little dressier, I guess, but I could have done without it. I'm sure they will set off the metal detector in the TSA-Pre line at the airport. Maybe I'll like the silver more over time; it really isn't very noticeable under the shoe and is minor compared to the good points. "
