Just What I Needed
" I suffer from swelling feet in the summer plus I am a wide width so finding cute, comfortable sandals is always difficult for me. These sandals are truly a miracle. They help keep my feet from swelling yet they are still very stylish and comfortable. I can hardly believe it because most stylish sandals cut into my feet and make them swell horribly, are very uncomfortable or just don't fit at all. And these are easy to put on because of the sling back. I don't have to buckle them every time and twist myself into a pretzel in the process. I am determined not to look like a frump in my 50s because of foot issues and these sandals go a long way towards preventing that from happening! I have purchased them in 3 colors already!

Absolutely Phenomenal
" I was desperate for a dressy faux suede dress boot late in the season and never thought I'd find anything. When I saw these I thought they were too good to be true because I usually have trouble fitting boots even if they are marked "wide calf". And being short (5'2") doesn't help. So I ordered them and said a prayer. Well, now that I've worn them I can't even believe how perfectly they fit and look. I am in shock because usually I try on several pairs in the store and many don't fit (even in wide calf), but I ordered these sight unseen and they were perfect! I think that little bit of stretch in them makes all the difference. I am so in love I might get them in other colors/materials. I told my hairstylist about them and she told me she has them in a mock crock! Thanks so much for carrying wide calf boots like this, DSW!

Calf Not As Wide as Other Audrey Brooke Boots
" I still can't figure out why the calves on these were not wide enough for me. I bought an Audrey Brooke pair virtually identical to these from last year in the cognac, so I ordered this one in black online thinking they'd fit the same, but the calf is visibly not as wide on this year's version as the boots I bought last year in the same size. I would say it's about an inch thinner. It's very disappointing because I used up two coupons that I'll never get back. I eventually found the Audrey Brooke Annya two-tone style in the store and they fit as well as my cognac pair. Perhaps the Tye boots were a fluke. At any rate, I took them back. I'm happy with the Annya boots anyway.

Exactly What I Wanted
" I was looking for a boot in exactly this style but thought I'd never find it in wide calf in leather, but here it is. I took a chance on them and I am ecstatic. The fit, look and quality are all better than expected. The zipper is strong, not flimsy like on a lot of boots and the leather is a substantial weight and nicely finished. I am so used to settling with boots that I can't believe I got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely buy Audrey Brooke boots again. Thanks, DSW for carrying more wide calf boots. I'm like a kid in a candy store now!

I'm in Shock and Awe
" These boots are absolutely phenomenal. I have 17 inch calves and could not fit into any wide calf riding boot at DSW except for these, probably because I'm also short at (5'2") and that means boots are never as wide as I need them as low down on the shaft as I need them (think about that, it's true - Petite women's legs start to get wider lower down because they're shorter). Miraculously, these are wide enough even with jeans tucked inside. I have slightly long legs for my height so they are not too high for me. They come to about a couple of inches from the knee. I got 2 compliments on them today already and I only just wore them for the first time!! I got them in the cognac but now I wish I had gotten them in black too. What is it with DSW? They never seem to order enough boots in a particular style. They ran out of the black and it was barely even October yet. I usually take an 8 but had to take a 8.5 in these to fit my foot. I used some DSW points and an online discount code and got them at an amazing price. One of my great purchases ever, seriously. Again, DSW, if you're listening, get more of these in BLACK, PLEASE!!!

A True Wide Calf Boot
" A lot of boots say they are wide calf but many of them are not. These boots definitely are. The women who think these boots are too wide in the calf really don't have wide calves, they are just used to boots saying they're wide calf when they are not. Normal sized boots can sometimes go up to a 16 inch calf circumference, so you really can't call boots like that true "wide calf" - Wider than normal but not true wide calf. Real wide calf boots usually start at 17 inches in a size 7. Unfortunately there is little education for women on how to measure themselves and how wide calf boots work.
In any boot, the larger the boot size the wider the calf circumference will be proportionate to the size of the shoe, so usually if a boot says it has a 17 inch circumference, that usually refers to a size 7 to maybe size 8. Size 9 to 10 might be a half inch wider and so on. Also, if you are short, you can often need wide calf boots just because the widest part of your calf is lower to the floor where most boots are still tapered for a longer calf. The only reason I know all of this is because I visited the 'widewidths' site which gives detailed instructions on how to buy wide calf boots.
Anyway, these boots are some of the most stylish, comfortable and truly wide calf/wide width boots out there. I have no problem zipping them up with pants underneath. I just wish this brand had wide calf boots in more than one style every year. I have always been a wide calf due to being short and being a bike rider when I was young and it has been a nightmare for me to find boots like this that fit. Thank you DSW for finally carrying some wide calf boots - Please add more in the future (and more true wide calf boots).
