Define "wide calf"
" The difference between the regular calf and the wide calf version of this boot is a 1/2". Totally ridiculous! I was able to find a product that allowed me to keep these boots, but it cost me another $55 to just be able to wear them. They are tight and narrow. An extra 1/2" isn't a significant difference. I love the way they look, but seriously, people, I'm an athlete and have big calves and an extra half inch doesn't do it. "
