This Shoe is Made for Dresses
" I bought this shoe in black specifically to wear with a dress to work. The shiny black patent shoes look soooo good paired with opaque black tights. I wore them all day the first time I wore them and my feet only got tired/achy after I walked 6 blocks for lunch. I would recommend them as both a work and going out shoe. "

Almost Perfect
" It's hard to find a dark brown bootie, and this one is the perfect dark brown color. Although I have an average (M) foot, I find that the area where my foot slightly widens after my toes is a bit tight. Other than that, this shoe is great to wear with jeans on "Casual Friday" at work and going out for a Saturday lunch with friends. "

Hiking
" I purchased these to wear for short hikes - 5 miles or less. I did find that I was less tired wearing these as compared to tennis shoes, and they were comfortable. I did feel rocks and other trail debris, so I wouldn't recommend wearing these on very rocky trails. Overall, these are a solid buy for a novice hiker. "

Clunky - Awkward Fit
" I have this shoe in a 9 1/2. I added a no-heel slip liner to both shoes, and my foot still slipped. I think it's the cloth bottom in this shoe that makes it so slippery. And because the fit is a bit long, it feels awkward to walk in - like wearing Frankenstein shoes. "
